Welcome to Tangaza SOT Church History Blog

Welcome to the Church History Blog! We hope that our Blog will be a space for exchanging news, ideas and research on Church History in Africa. As we are striving at making Tangaza University College a center of excellence for African Church History we hope that this blog will give the opportunity to scholars, students, and all concerned to provide a valuable contribution to the glourious past, current developments, and future endevours of African Churches.

We are grateful for the support of our partners from KUL Lublin, FSCIRE Bologna, and KUL Leuven who accompany us on this ambitious past. From st. Jerome to the II Vatican Council, from st. Athanasius and Abba Salama to Cardinal Otunga – let us make this platform a historical banquet that will nurture our knowledge and wisdom!

How do ideas and research fit into Church history? Is the church a comfortable place to convey ideas which are from among young people?
